About Daniel
My name is Daniël Rood. Eleven years ago, I discovered the sport/art form of freestyle football.
Since then, it's become my greatest passion and has meant incredibly much to me in various areas of my life. Besides the joy I experience during freestyle, it's helped me tremendously to develop my discipline, creativity, and self-confidence. I love constantly pushing my boundaries and constantly striving to come up with new tricks and combinations.
I've also developed a strong passion for passing on and sharing the sport with the younger generation. My main goal is to lay a foundation for these kids from which they can start to create, but also to make them aware of the potential for personal transformation through freestyle.
During the 11 years that I have been freestyling, I have gained experience during various tournaments such as the Dutch Championship and the World Championship Freestyle Football, and I now have 6 years of teaching experience.
EXPERIENCES
Show SCPB '22 Badhoeverdorp
During the school football tournament at SCPB'22 in April 2025, nearly 800 children had a blast playing football. A great highlight was the unique demonstration by freestyler Daniel. The children were amazed and learned a few cool moves here and there. All in all, a great success!
